Anthony Melissourgos holds a B.Sc on Educational Technology and Digital Systems at the Department of Digital Systems at University of Piraeus and a M.Sc on Social Neuroscience, Social Pedagogy and Education at the Department of Education at University of Athens.
As IT Specialist in Developing the Educational System of ICP, HACAPP, APHCA, he has work experience in Designing, Developing and Supporting E-learning and Educational Support Systems using Gamification, SQL Database, No-SQL, CMS and Web Languages as well as Java and C#. He also develops Android Applications to support Game-Based Learning Educational Systems.
His research interests concern Game Based Learning and Gamification. As a member of the research group apt2, he designs, develops and supports E-learning and CSCL Scripts in the research labs and workshops, in order to provide contemporary and sophisticated game-based learning environment.
