Angeliki Alafouzou  graduated from the Department of English Language and Literature at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and she earned the M.Sc Diploma in e-learning from the Department of Digital Systems at University of Piraeus.

She is a teacher in an English School since 2010 and also in a kindergarten. Due to her great interest in education she has attended many training programs related to Education and Technology. She has gained the Moodle Course Creator Certification (MCCC) such as a certification in Specialization in Special Education. She is currently trying to extend her knowledge in the domain of Intercultural Education. Moreover she has a remarkable background in the use of New Technologies as she has participated in many projects dealing with the digital content creation and e-courses’ development.

Her research interests concern mainly gamification and e-STEM. As a member of the research group apt2 she aims to provide students with the maximum opportunities to learn via the delivery of the appropriate skills and knowledge that the current and the next years demand in the domain of employment.
